Welcome

Tennis

We have 19 tennis courts available to Members at all times from 9am (subject to weather, Club match priorities, etc.); six with artificial grass surfaces (three floodlit until 10.30pm), four tarmac courts (two floodlit) and nine grass courts (used from May to September). There is also a kids' Mini Court and practice wall.

Croquet

We have about 100 members playing on five excellent full-size (35 yards by 28 yards) croquet courts that are amongst the best in the country. The croquet season starts towards the end of March and continues well into October. Last season we introduced a 'Winter Lawn' which has proven successful with our members. Association Croquet is the standard game, but in recent years Golf Croquet has been introduced at the Club and is now popular and enjoyed by all levels of ability.

Bridge

The Section is very active with members enjoying a regular club evening playing Chicago Bridge, Duplicate Bridge on a Wednesday evening and Friday afternoon Chicago throughout the year often with tuition .

Centenary

Thanks to the wonderful generosity of Almond Bay Resorts ,
we have an all-inclusive holiday in Barbados for two, at this idillic destination.
The flights have been kindly donated by the Barbados Tourism Authority.
This is the first prize in our Centenary Prize Draw, 20% of ticket sales will be donated to UCARE.
The tickets will be drawn at the Centenary Dinner Dance on 10th October.
