Our Club

East Dorset is a busy Tennis, Croquet and Bridge club with over 600 Adult and Junior members located in the heart of Ashley Cross, Poole.

We have 19 Tennis Courts on 3 different surfaces (4 Artificial Clay, 6 Astro (Artificial Grass) and 9 Grass Lawns.  There is some form of Club Day tennis almost everyday, except Sundays, and we host coaching sessions at all levels for Juniors and Adults.

The Club has 5 full-size tournament standard grass Croquet Lawns where members play both Association and Golf Croquet.  Our active Bridge section has weekly sessions for both Duplicate and Chicago Bridge, including coaching sessions for Beginners and Improvers.

The Club House includes a fully stocked and licensed Bar and a Cafe both open daily, including a weekly changing menu for Sunday Lunch.  The Club Function Room is available for hire at modest rates and is used by a whole spectrum of the local community from exercise classes such as Pilates, Yoga and Zumba to Language, Art, Music and other classes.
