All evening sessions will now start 6:45 to allow locking up and clearing the club before 10pm.
Starting on Tuesday 4th September,Marie Collins will a be running Helpful Bridge sessions starting at 2.00pm
MONDAY PLAY CHANGES The format and timing of Monday play will be changing from July. The first and third Mondays will be 'singles' with the remaining Mondays being 'pairs'. The only real change is that the fifth Monday, if there is one in the month, will now be pairs.
Soft Duplicate is being introduced on the second Monday of each month, initially on a 3-month trial. Slightly longer will be allowed to play the hands and the sessions will finish early to allow discussion of the hands.
These alterations stem from this year's AGM debate, following which a survey was undertaken and a report issued summarising the results of the April Monday play.
The 2012 Christine Clode Cup Bridge drive was won by Jonathan Wood.
A PAIRING HELPLINE is now being trialed, so please see the Bridge notice board in the function room for further details.
Mini-duplicate is on the first half of Friday's session on the last Friday of the month. Please be available to start at 2pm sharp as otherwise it is likely you will not be able to play until after the break.
