Well played everyone in today’s Club Championships Finals, it was a great day’s tennis and there was a real buzz about the club Thanks to Sue Hobden and Ros Topple for organising (and managing to play their matches as well), and thanks to the rain for staying away til the presentation ceremonies!
We had lots of fun in the sun yesterday afternoon at Max Tennis School’s Adult & Junior Tournament, so a big thank you to everyone who took part and made it a success!
There were lots of long rallies and close matches so it’s a shame there have to be winners and losers… but congratulations go to Ethan & Roger (winners) and Ollie & Andy (runners up) in the Green ball event, and to Daisy & Roger (winners) and Harry & Sue (runners up) in the Orange ball event.
It was a great afternoon, and we hope to see you all at our next ‘Summertime Slam’ event, details to be announced shortly!
We’re pleased to be hosting the LTA Open Seniors Doubles Tournament from Monday 12th to Saturday 17th June. Entries have now closed and the action starts on Monday, overseen by Tournament Director, Clive Richardson. The forecast is much better for this coming week so we're hoping for interrupted play. If you're taking part, good luck and we hope you enjoy your matches!

Following on from last term’s box leagues, Dan will be running a new set of box leagues to give you the opportunity to play some matches over the winter period.
The box leagues will involve arranging matches with other players in your box at times to suit you and then passing the results back to Dan so he can keep the boxes up to date. Matches are best of 3 sets, if 1-1 then the 3rd will be decided by a 10 point tiebreak.
Entries are £5 and the deadline for entries will be Monday 13th March.
If you wish to hear more or you would like to sign up then please contact Dan either by email at email@example.com or by mobile 07475 447272.
Hope to hear from you soon!
