Each side has two balls — red and yellow against blue and black. A side may be
one or two players — singles or doubles. In singles a player strikes both the
balls for that side. In doubles a player only strikes one of the balls.
The balls are played in order — blue, red, black, yellow. The balls are played from the starting corner. Players first try to go through (known as running) the first hoop. The first side to run the hoop scores one point and then all players move on to the next hoop. 13 hoops are contested, so the first side to gain 7 points wins. Balls hit off the court are replaced on the boundary.
