Coronavirus emergency – club closure

Following the Prime Minister’s nation-wide announcement yesterday evening, the Club will be closed completely until further notice.To be clear, Members will not be allowed to enter the premises for any reason, even on foot.  Anyone whose car is parked at the Club should please remove it as there are no current plans to re-open the barrier to the Club.  All Max Tennis School coaching activities are also on hold.The EDLTCC Board is actively considering the many implications of the ‘lock-down’, including financial matters, at its virtual meeting next Monday.  Further communications will follow in due course.  For those members who have already... EDLTCC – Floodlighting & Clay Courts Update

We’re pleased to announce that work on the floodlights and conversion of the 4 hard courts (7-10) to artificial clay will be taking place over the next few weeks.It means that from 4th December these courts will be out of action for 3 weeks leading up to Christmas. We will keep you all informed if there are any changes to this. You can appreciate as deliveries take place and Contractors’ vehicles are on site there will be restrictions to parking in particular areas.We will try to minimise these to help you continue playing tennis!
