Wednesday Club Nights are back!

We’re pleased to announce that Club Nights are moving from Thursday evening to Wednesday evening by popular demand… and we’re starting half an hour later to give people who work more time to get there. So the new time is 6.30-8.30pm every Wednesday, with coach Sally arranging you into doubles pairs. Then there’ll be an hour’s unsupervised play at the end for any latecomers. The new Autumn term coaching programme starts this week, so join us this Wednesday 6th September for our first session! Please note that Monday club nights with Aaron continue at their usual time of 6-8pm.

Frost & Co Dorset Open a great success!

The club was proud to host an LTA Grade 3 tourament at the start of August, the Frost & Co Dorset Open 2017, and apart from one day of rain on the Wednesday the event ran smoothly and we saw some high quality tennis! Thanks to all the players who took part, adults and juniors, and we hope you all enjoyed the experience! Congratulations to our winners and runners-up, including East Dorset’s Louis Allen who won the Boys 18U Singles event, and we hope to see you all again next year!

Table Tennis at EDLTCC – Thursday evenings

Following the recent purchase of an indoor table tennis table, we’re pleased to announce that club evenings will start from Thursday 20th July from 6pm til the bar closes in the function room.
You’re welcome to turn up and play free for one club session, but you’ll then need to sign up as a Table Tennis member (┬ú24 for existing Tennis or Croquet members, and ┬ú36 for Bridge / Non Playing / New members).
You’ll be able to play at other times too when the function room is free, e.g. if it’s a wet Saturday club afternoon – you’ll just need to assemble the table and then put it away in the store cupboard afterwards.
If you’re keen to improve your game, Steve Moreman will be running table tennis coaching sessions too.
