Welcome to the Tennis Section
We have 19 tennis courts overall, available to all members from 7am until 10pm (subject to weather, Club match priorities etc.) We have six artificial grass courts (five of which are floodlit), four tarmac courts (three floodlit) and nine grass courts (used from May to September). There is also a kids' Mini Court and a practice wall.
The club welcomes all standards of players from complete beginners to established team players and we can offer opportunities for social and competitive play. We are affiliated to the Lawn Tennis Association and the Dorset LTA and we take part in the Dorset and Hampshire & Isle of Wight winter and summer Leagues, with a variety of mens, ladies and mixed teams.
We have an extensive coaching programme for adults and juniors – see the coaching section for more details.
We also have an active social programme, with various events and social tournaments arranged during the year, and our Bar and in-house caterers offer plenty of opportunity to socialise with other members.
